Joanne Peulen is a board consultant and board director specializing in strategic financial and business risk management.
She has more than 24 years career experience, initially working in the energy industry and large-scale public organizations (the first 15 years in key operational and senior management roles) and then as an independent risk and governance consultant. Having accumulated a practical business skillset that spans risk management (ERM and derivative financial markets and commodity trading specific), treasury operations, project delivery, regulatory compliance and financial reporting, Joanne is well respected in her field. She has developed valued relationships across industry, government and regulatory bodies. A strategic thinker comfortable questioning the status quo, with a proven ability to lead change.
She is currently a member of the Queensland Public Trustee Advisory and Monitoring Board and has served on Paralympics Australia’s Finance, Audit and Risk Management Board Sub Committee. Joanne chaired the Autism Queensland Limited Board in 2021 and its Audit & Risk Management Committee from 2018-2023.
